Dayshift Facilities Engineer (Electrical)

Due to the ongoing success of our manufacturing client, exciting opportunities have arisen for a dayshift Facilities Engineer with Electrical bias to join their team. This role is based near Falkirk and on dayshift

Essential Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge

• Completed electrical apprenticeship (NVQ level 3 / 4 or city & guilds).
\n
• Inspection and testing of electrical installations. (City & Guilds 2391).
\n

\n
• Application of Safety, Health and Environmental legislation and procedures.
\n
• Electrical Inspection and testing.
\n

\n
• Fault finding: Electrical systems.
\n
• Planning works and writing reports; completion of inspection and testing certification.
\n
• Restore asset after works.
\n
• Working knowledge of wiring regulations.
\n
• Electrical principals, safety & control circuits, motors, motor control circuits.
\n

\n
• Spare parts management.
\n
• Reading and adhering to site SOPs
\n

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge

\n
• Timeserved electrical engineer
\n
• PAT (City & Guilds 2377).
\n
• IOSH Managing Safely (Beneficial)
\n
• Background in installations
\n
