The Role\n

\n As Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the business to provide practical, solutions-focused legal support across a range of commercial and project matters within the renewable energy space.\n
\n
\n You will be responsible for:\n
- \n
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial and project contracts, including EPC agreements, PPAs, and O&M contracts \n
- Supporting renewable energy projects from development through to operation \n
- Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders across the business \n
- Identifying and managing legal risk while enabling commercial objectives \n
- Working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment \n
- Supporting the wider legal function as the business continues to scale \n
- \n
- A qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 2–8 years’ experience in legal roles (in-house or private practice) \n
- Strong background in the renewable energy sector, ideally with exposure to BESS and/or wind projects \n
- Experience working with EPC contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreements \n
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities \n
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills \n
