\nA US law firm well established in the London market.
\nTHE ROLE
\nA Knowledge Lawyer with experience in UK Corporate transactions and a strong interest in Innovation and is sought by the Corporate Team.
\nYou will be working with some of the world's most successful and innovative investors, entrepreneurs and disruptors in the life sciences, private equity, real estate, technology and financial industries, and where they converge.
\nThis is your opportunity to grow professionally in a dynamic, global environment, surrounded by forward-thinking peers and as the Knowledge & Innovation Lawyer focused on UK corporate transactions, you will be a member of the Global Knowledge & Innovation department and serve as a resident knowledge expert on general corporate and M&A legal issues in relation to corporate governance, equity investments, private M&A transactions, and corporate reorganisations.
\nWorking as an embedded Knowledge & Innovation Lawyer, you will work closely with practice leaders and will draw upon your legal expertise and prior experience to support these practices by providing the highest quality legal content and know-how for our UK practitioners.
\nWhat you will do
\nCreate, develop and maintain model documents, forms, precedents, checklists, and other substantive content for the practices.
\n Serve as a source of legal, market and practical expertise; identifying and collecting key data points of equity investments and M&A transactions for statistical analysis and post-deal assessments, benchmarking and market trends.
\n Monitor and inform the practices of important relevant legal developments; supporting the research, writing and publication of external client alerts on such developments.
\n Participate in established corporate transactional training initiatives, including internal associate and trainee training sessions, client workshops.
\n Work with the K&I team to develop solutions to increase efficiency, enable legal project management and improve legal service delivery; such as GenAI template building, document assembly packages, AI due diligence procedures, expert systems and client-facing applications.
\n Participate in K&I team meetings to facilitate the sharing of best practices and knowledge, and perform such other duties as requested by the K&I department.
\n Participate in corporate transactional business development efforts through thought leadership initiatives, client seminars and pitches, to elevate the awareness and value of this work and the firm's K&I program.
\n THE CANDIDATE.
An England & Wales qualified solicitor you will ideally have experience in a knowledge management or professional support lawyer although this is not essential.
\nWith 6pqe+ corporate in a leading City firm including experience managing, structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions for private equity and venture capital client, you will have a passion for knowledge-sharing, efficiency and excellence in legal work.
\nAn interest in working with legal technology, such as artificial intelligence, document and workflow automation, and collaboration platforms is also required.
