Are you a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer looking to join a business investing heavily in its people, equipment and future? This is a dayshift 4 on 4 off role.
\nWe're recruiting for a growing food manufacturing business that is expanding its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to move into a role where you'll have genuine input into improving reliability, reducing downtime and supporting exciting site improvement projects.

\n The Role\n

\n
You'll be responsible for maintaining a range of automated production equipment while helping drive a proactive maintenance culture. Alongside planned and reactive maintenance, you'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades across the site.

\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n
\n
- \n
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance. \n
- Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime. \n
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects. \n
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment. \n
- Work on production equipment including mixers, ovens, conveyors and associated machinery. \n
- Complete maintenance records using a CMMS. \n
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with food manufacturing standards. \n

\n About You\n
\n
\n
- \n
- Time-served Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification. \n
- Previous maintenance experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced production environment. \n
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills. \n
- Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous. \n
- Experience using a CMMS. \n
- Proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement. \n
