CNC Machinist Location: Nottingham Commutable from: Leicester, Loughborough, Hinckley, Coalville, Market Harborough Salary: £35,000 - £38,480 per year Shift: Day shift, flexible start & finish times About the Company This is a progressive engineering company offering opportunities for skilled individuals with a strong background in machining and manufacturing to develop within a growing team. The Role We are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Turner to join a busy engineering team in Nottingham. We are interested in candidates with experience as: CNC Turner Manual Turner CNC Turner Programmer The role involves producing high-quality precision engineered components while working to technical drawings and specifications within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include: Setting and operating CNC turning machinery Operating manual turning machinery where applicable Producing components to engineering drawings and specifications Editing and adjusting programmes to improve machining efficiency and accuracy Carrying out routine machine maintenance and inspections Loading materials and managing tooling requirements safely Conducting quality inspections using measuring equipment and hand tools Maintaining a clean and safe working environmentAbout You Proven experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment Experience as a CNC Turner or Manual Turner Experience using Prototrak, Siemens, Fanuc or Winmax controls Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures and machining processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately Competent using measuring equipment and hand tools Good understanding of materials and tooling selection Strong attention to detail and quality standardsHow to Apply To apply for the CNC Machinist position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
