Salary:£19.67 per hour (including 7% attendance bonus) | Approx. £40,573 per year + Benefits

We're recruiting for an experienced Moulding Technician to join a well-established manufacturer, supporting production through efficient tool changes, process optimisation and continuous improvement.

\nThe Role\n

\n
• Carry out tool and colour changes to minimise downtime
\n
• Troubleshoot injection moulding process issues
\n
• Optimise cycle times and machine performance
\n
• Support and train setters on best practice
\n
• Drive continuous improvement, scrap reduction and Right First Time initiatives
\n
• Perform basic machine maintenance (TPM) and liaise with maintenance on tooling repairs
\n
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping
\n

\n
\nWhat We're Looking For\n

\n
• Previous experience within an injection moulding environment
\n
• Strong process troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
\n
• Experience with Husky, Krauss Maffei or Toshiba injection moulding machines is highly desirable
\n
• NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
\n
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills
\n

\nShift Pattern (Rotating 3-Shift)\n

\n
• Monday-Friday: 07:00-15:00
\n
• Sunday-Thursday: 23:00-07:00
\n
• Monday-Thursday: 15:00-23:00
\n
• Friday: 15:00-22:00
\n

Attendance Bonus: The hourly rate includes a 7% attendance bonus, paid monthly, subject to no absence during the previous month.
