JOB OVERVIEW

We're recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our client, a busy, well-established garage in Nottingham. This is a full-time, permanent PAYE position covering all aspects of servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault finding. We're open to candidates from all backgrounds whether you're fully qualified or experienced through hands-on work, if you're confident on the tools and keen to grow, we want to hear from you.

SALARY

£33,000£42,000 per annum (PAYE, depending on experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine servicing and maintenance across a range of vehicles

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
\n
• Work independently and manage a varied workload day to day
\n
• Carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards (if licence held)
\n
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out
\n
• Uphold workshop health and safety standards at all times
\n

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic (essential)

\n
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (desirable, not essential)
\n
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• MOT Tester licence (desirable, not essential)
\n
