You'll be joining a nationally recognised healthcare provider that supports thousands of patients every year with specialist treatments in the community. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you'll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload while building meaningful relationships with patients throughout their treatment journey.\n
As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will:\n
\n

\n
• Deliver chemotherapy treatments safely in patients' homes across Plymouth and the surrounding areas
\n
• Undertake comprehensive patient assessments before and during treatment
\n
• Administer IV chemotherapy, perform cannulation and phlebotomy
\n
• Monitor patients throughout treatment and manage adverse reactions appropriately
\n
• Build strong relationships with patients, carers and the wider multidisciplinary team
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while delivering the highest standards of patient care
\n

About you:\n
\n

\n
• Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration
\n
• Experienced administering chemotherapy in a hospital or community setting
\n
• SACT Passport or recognised chemotherapy qualification preferred
\n
• Competent in IV therapy, cannulation and phlebotomy
\n
• Confident working independently with excellent clinical assessment skills
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
