\n An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading companies in the facilities industry.\n
\n They currently maintain a number of facilities and maintenance contracts and are looking for an Engineering Manager to work in a high profile hospital contract based in Essex.\n
\n The main purpose of the job will be to ensure that technical operations within the buildings and estate are maintained to a very high standard.\n
\n The role will also be responsible for managing the maintenance team of six multi-skilled engineers on site and also dealing with external subcontractors.\n
\n The Engineering Manager will also need to maintain the site's PPMs to 100% completion at a high quality level, ensure compliance and health and safety are conducted to a high standard and also make sure the asset registeris updated on a routine basis.\n

- Manage all technical issues across the buildings. \n
- Manage agreed KPI and SLAs. \n
- Responsible for managing the companys H&S and environmental performance on each site. \n
- Plan and implement building shutdowns and basic client project works. \n
- Responsible for managing the companys quality procedures on each site. \n
- Recruitment of any new staff required on sites. \n
- Responsible for the technical development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals. \n
- Management of client relationships on a daily basis. \n
- Management of all reports. \n
- Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue. \n
- Responsible for the permit system. \n
\n
- \n
- Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND or higher. \n
- Strong understanding of building management systems. \n
- Strong technical engineering understanding. \n
- Previous HV experience. \n
- Previous experience of managing engineering teams. \n
- Experience of service delivery in high profile financial offices or critical data centres. \n
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients. \n
- Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload. \n
- Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget. \n
