  • 12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off. Days (6am 6pm) and nights (6pm-6am).

\nIn this varied role, youll provide first-fix support on M&E and minor fabric repairs, oversee and coordinate contractors, and ensure all Health & Safety requirements are met to the highest standard. Youll deliver small project works both independently and as part of a team, while also offering technical guidance and supervision on larger tasks. With the ability to contribute to reports and audits for the management team, youll play a key part in keeping our operation running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.\n

\n Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver responsive, high-quality support to internal and external clients, consistently exceeding expectations
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate records, complete reports, and ensure timely updates across all systems
  • \n
  • Uphold strict health and safety, security, and compliance standards across the site and facilities
  • \n
  • Follow Pulsant processes, including incident escalation and access control procedures
  • \n
  • Monitor systems, environment, and M+E infrastructure
  • \n
  • Manage tickets efficiently, logging issues and providing timely, professional responses
  • \n
  • Support day-to-day site operations, ensuring security, integrity, and smooth functionality
  • \n
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure facility upkeep and reliability
  • \n
  • Manage stock, assets, and critical spares within the data centre
  • \n
  • Escort and assist third-party vendors and engineers on site Contribute to infrastructure rollouts, migrations, decommissions, and refresh projects
  • \n
  • Capture and maintain accurate asset data, including photos and serial numbers for auditing and troubleshooting
  • \n
  • Involvement with testing and handover, and knowledge and understanding of any new M+E infrastructure installed monitoring the facility.
  • \n
  • Responsible for undertaking the duties of an LV Authorised person on site, including planning, documentation and implementation with a strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • \n
  • This role requires the willingness of providing holiday cover and overtime support within the team and occasionally other sites within the region.
  • \n
  • As part of this role, you will be required to handle confidential information and/or sensitive data in a professional manner and in line with existing Company processes and policies.
  • \n
  • Provide on-site remote hands/smart hands support for remote IT teams during incidents and requests including performing basic troubleshooting, equipment reboots, and component replacements (where authorised)
  • \n
  • Carry out physical IT tasks including cable management, hardware installs/moves, and connectivity checks
  • \n
  • Support cross-connects, console access, and power verification activities
  • \n
  • Assist with rack installation, cabling, and hardware deployment to optimise performance
  • \n
What / who we're looking for:\n
    \n
  • Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, with experience working within a critical, industrial or commercial environment.
  • \n
  • Completed electrical apprenticeship or similar - ideally with 18th edition wiring regulations.
  • \n
  • Basic IT skills, Word and Excel.
  • \n
  • Experience in some of the following would be very beneficial - L.V. switching, HVAC Systems, UPS Circuitry, Generators, BMS Systems, Fire Preventative Systems.
  • \n
