In this 3 shift role (combining earlies, lates and nights) you will be responsible for the dailymaintenanceandrepair(preventative and emergency) of a wide range ofproduction and engineering machinery. You will work as part of a well established team ofMaintenance Techniciansand report into a Maintenance Manager.\n

Working across a 3 shift pattern - 3 shifts (earlies, lates and nights), attracting a salary of £42000 (with paid overtime available at £26-27phr)\n

- Minimise production downtime by trouble shooting breakdowns and preventing reoccurrences. \n
- Work with electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation undertake fault finding and modification of plant and equipment. \n
- Use a Maintenance Management System carry out preventative/ planned maintenance work. \n
- Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing recurring issues. \n
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to all EHS Company policies. \n
- Continuously enhance job knowledge through training and development opportunities. \n
- Perform electrical and mechanical work, including fabrication, welding and some minor electrical installation work as required. \n

- Successful completion of a time-served apprenticeship with a minimum level 3 qualification, BTEC/City and Guilds or equivalent. \n
- Demonstrated multiskilled proficiency in industrial electrical AND/ORmechanical systems, including pneumatic/hydraulic systems,fabrication,and welding. \n
- Proven competency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams as well as troubleshooting control panels. \n
- Ability to pass medical which includes assessments for working at height and in confined spaces. \n
- Computer literacy and familiarity with office software applications. \n
- Resilient,resourceful approach,with sound judgment and decision-making skills. \n
- Proactive work ethic,strong initiative,and the ability to operate independently within a shift team environment. \n
