Job Description
Are you an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator with 5-axis machining skills and the ability to write or modify Fanuc or Haas programs This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering company producing high-quality components for demanding industries. The successful CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator will play a key role in delivering quality, efficiency and continuous improvement within a supportive manufacturing team.
\nThe Role
\n\n- \n
- Set, program and operate 4 and 5 axis CNC machining centres. \n
- Write, edit and optimise Fanuc and Haas programs. \n
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components to specification. \n
- Inspect your own work using micrometers, verniers and other measuring equipment. \n
- Adjust wear offsets to maintain quality and cycle times. \n
- Deburr and assemble components where required. \n
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area. \n
- Support continuous improvement and work collaboratively with colleagues. \n
Skills & Experience
\n\n- \n
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator. \n
- Strong knowledge of 4th and 5th axis machining. \n
- Ability to write and modify Fanuc and Haas programs. \n
- CAD/CAM experience is advantageous but not essential. \n
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards. \n
- Confident using precision inspection equipment. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. \n
- Eligible to work in the UK. \n
