HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver

We are looking for an HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver

Nights Monday to Friday from £41,000 per year

\n

Location: Frome, Somerset

\n

Immediate start

\n

Shift: 1600-1900 starts, average 12hr shifts

\n

Temp to Perm

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our clients team based out of Frome, Somerset

\n

The role:

\n

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 Lorry to carry out collections and deliveries of pallets from hubs. This will mean you will have a double decker trailer.

\n

Your key responsibilities will be:-

\n

\n
• Driving and operating a HGV Class 1 Lorry in line with safety standards
\n
• Carrying out a trunk to hub and back with a double decker trailer
\n
• Ensuring vehicle checks are completed daily
\n
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
\n

\n

About you:

\n

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will have the following skills and experience:

\n

\n
• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C) licence (held for a min 24 months)
\n
• HGV Class 1 Driving experience and experience with a double decker trailer
\n
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
\n
• Strong focus on health and safety
\n
