Building Control Officer/Surveyor

We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Building Control Surveyor / Inspector to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional looking for a flexible role with a strong work-life balance and a varied project portfolio.\n
\n The Role As a Building Control Surveyor / Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation across a range of residential and commercial developments. You will work closely with developers, architects, contractors, and homeowners to provide professional guidance and inspections throughout the construction process.\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Carry out site inspections to assess compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation
\n
• Review plans, specifications, and technical submissions
\n
• Provide clear technical advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders
\n
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records
\n
• Support projects from initial application through to completion certification
\n
• Ensure high standards of customer service and professional conduct at all times
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Must be a Registered Building Inspector (RBI)
\n
• Minimum classification: RBI Class 2A
\n
• Strong knowledge of current Building Regulations and construction practices
\n
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
\n
• Ability to manage workload independently and efficiently
\n
• Full UK driving licence preferred
\n
