Commercial Gas Engineer - Edinburgh - Salary up to £50,000 DOE\n
\n CBW are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing team covering a variety of commercial sites across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including:\n

• Schools
\n
• Retail premises
\n
• Office buildings
\n
• Other commercial contracts
\n

Key Responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas appliances, boilers, heating systems, and associated plant equipment.
\n
• Conducting routine servicing, inspections, and testing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
\n
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive repairs to minimise downtime and disruption to clients.
\n
• Working on a range of commercial heating systems including boilers, burners, pumps, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, and controls.
\n
• Identifying potential issues before they become major failures and recommending remedial works where necessary.
\n
• Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs in a professional and timely manner.
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with current Gas Safe regulations, health and safety legislation, and company procedures.
\n
• Completing detailed service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation using electronic or paper-based systems.
\n
• Liaising with site managers, facilities teams, and clients to provide technical advice and updates on ongoing works.
\n

Person Specification:\n
\n

\n
• Valid Commercial Gas qualifications
\n
• Previous experience in commercial maintenance environments
\n
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
\n
