HGV 2 Driver

We are currently looking for an experiencedHGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)to join our clientin Colchester, delivering foodservice products to our customers across Essex and surrounding areas.

This is amulti-drop delivery driver role, where you will be the face of the business, ensuring customers receive their deliveries safely, accurately and on time.

About the Role

As anHGV Class 2 multi-drop driver, you will be responsible for delivering foodservice products to a wide range of hospitality customers including restaurants, pubs, schools and care homes.

This role ishands-on and physically active, involving manual handling and customer interaction throughout the day.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Driving aClass 2 rigid vehicleon scheduled delivery routes
\n
• Completingmulti-drop deliveriesto hospitality customers
\n
• Safely unloading goods using appropriate equipment
\n
• Ensuring orders are deliveredaccurately and on time
\n
• Providing friendly, professional service as theface of Pilgrim Foodservice
\n
• Carrying out dailyvehicle safety checks and driver compliance requirements
\n

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Avalid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
\n
• Driver CPC qualification
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Previous experience as amulti-drop delivery driver
\n
• A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
\n
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
\n
• The physical capability required formanual handling and foodservice deliveries
