Senior Network Engineer - NSX - Defence\n
\nContract - 6 Months - fully onsite\n
\nBased in Yeovil (3-5 days) compressed hours available\n
\nDV Clearance is required for this role\n
\nRecruiting for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading organisation delivering secure, mission-critical technology solutions within the UK defence sector.\n
\nThis is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design, implement and support VMware NSX-T and software-defined networking solutions across highly secure environments, while providing technical leadership to project teams.\n
\nExperience includes:\n
\n* Strong experience with VMware NSX-T (or equivalent network virtualisation platforms)\n
\n* Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs, QoS and Cisco networking\n
\n* Experience with software-defined networking, micro-segmentation and secure network\n
\n architectures\n
\n* Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, network monitoring and virtualised environments\n
\n* Previous experience delivering within secure, enterprise or defence environments\n
\n* Ability to mentor engineers and own technical delivery\n
\nIt would be an added advantage if you had any of the following:\n
\n* VMware NSX certification\n
\n* VCF, vSphere or vSAN experience\n
\n* Automation (Ansible, Terraform, APIs)\n
\n* AWS/Azure networking\n
