\n Were working with a leading technical training provider who is looking for a time-served industry expert to step into an Instructor roleand theyll train you to be a trainer.\n
\nThis is ideal for someone who:\n
\n? Has solid overhead lines experience\n
\n ? Is physically fit and enjoys practical work\n
\n ? Wants to be home most nights (Manchester-based 90% of the time)\n
\n ? Is ready to pass on their knowledge to the next generation\n
\nThis is not a classroom-heavy rolearound 80% of your time will be spent delivering practical, hands-on training as follows:\n
\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality practical training in overhead line construction & maintenance
\n
• Support classroom-based learning when required
\n
• Design and develop engaging training programmes
\n
• Assess learners against industry standards (NVQ / Diploma / End Point Assessment)
\n
• Ensure all training is delivered safely and in line with legislation
\n
• Work closely with industry clients to meet training needs
\n
• Support learners to achieve recognised qualifications
\n

\n
\nWe are keen to hear from applicants from the tradesomeone whos done the job and can teach it.\n
\nEssential skills:\n
\n

\n
• 10 years experience in electricity distribution / overhead lines
\n
• Strong overhead line construction & maintenance background
\n
• Previously held (or currently hold) relevant authorisations
\n
• Good understanding of LV/HV systems
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Physically fit and comfortable working in practical environments
\n

\n
\nDesirable (but can be developed):\n
\n

\n
• Teaching / training qualification (e.g. PTLLS)
\n
• Assessor qualification (D32/33 or equivalent)
\n
• IOSH / NEBOSH or similar
\n

\n
