\nWe have a wonderful opportunity for a Registered Manager to join our team at our Park House Neurological Rehabilitation Service in Bedfordshire. Park House is a service providing accommodation for 14 adult residents.
\nThe team at Park House work together to develop person-centred, evidence-based rehabilitation care plans that aim to maximise the individuals independence and recovery. The service is all wheelchair accessible and includes a wheelchair accessible lift, training kitchen and garden.
\nWe look to build on our residents' progress and provide them with key life skills, with each resident having access to a multidisciplinary care team consisting of a Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and a Psychologist as required.
\nWhat you'll be working:

- 37.5 hours per week \n
- Monday-Friday or as required to meet the needs of the service. As Registered Manager, there is an expectation to be available outside of these hours in an emergency. \n
- Salary: £46,000 FTE) Per annum (Pro rata) \n
What you'll be doing:
\n- \n
- Ensuring individuals needs are met. \n
- Ensuring business objectives are met \n
- Responsible for keeping up-to-date with any changes or new legislation affecting the provision of services. \n
- Delivery of training for inductees and existing employees, as required. \n
- Facilitate CQC inspections to ensure 100% compliant. \n
- Responsible for ensuring the service has the required level of resources to support the individuals. Including ensuring that the service is fully staffed according to agreed levels. \n
- Maintain the staffing provision using the rostering system. \n
- Monitor service quality, utilising all care and business systems to ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, in line with organisational, regulatory and legal requirements. \n
- Support Quality Assurance activities of own and other services, achieving 100% compliance. \n
- Acting as a representative of Active Care Group at all times. \n
- Liaising with external stakeholders, including medical professionals, care managers, families, advocates, therapists, and prospective individuals. \n
- Supporting referrals activities - including service visits and assessments. \n
- Support individuals' ongoing medical needs. \n
- Support individuals who may require behaviour management. \n
- Admin \n
What you'll have:
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a similar setting. \n
- Experience in managing a team of support Workers and Therapists. \n
- QCF or NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or a qualification as a nurse or therapist. \n
- Good leadership skills. \n
- Excellent understanding of the relevant regulatory framework, regulations and legislation. \n
- Excellent analytical and budgetary skills. \n
- Demonstrate experience in coaching and developing colleagues. \n
- Strong organisational, time management, planning and communication skills. \n
- Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping. \n
- Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situationss \n
