Key Responsibilities

\n
• Produce electrical design deliverables including single line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and equipment layouts
\n
• Develop supporting documentation including bills of materials and design packs
\n
• Take a lead designer role across projects and proposals
\n
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level designers
\n
• Review and check designs to ensure quality and compliance
\n
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver coordinated design solutions
\n
• Ensure all designs are safe, practical, and fit for purpose
\n

Requirements

\n
• Proven experience as an Electrical Designer across infrastructure or industrial projects
\n
• Proficiency in CAD and 3D modelling tools
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards and legislation
\n
• Experience across multiple stages of the project lifecycle
\n
• Good communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
\n
• HNC/HND, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
\n
• Professional accreditation or working towards it is desirable
