\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Bodyshop Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle repair operation based in West Sussex.
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs, restoration, and refurbishment work on a range of commercial and light commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
\nThis role would suit a motivated technician with strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n

Carry out body repairs on commercial and light commercial vehicles.
\n - \n
Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
\n - \n
Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels and body components.
\n - \n
Undertake panel beating, metal finishing, alignment, and structural repairs.
\n - \n
Carry out welding and fabrication work where required.
\n - \n
Prepare vehicles and components for painting.
\n - \n
Ensure all repairs are completed in line with manufacturer standards and company procedures.
\n - \n
Conduct quality control checks to ensure a high standard of workmanship.
\n - \n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
\n - \n
Liaise with colleagues and management regarding repair progress and additional work requirements.
\n - \n
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.
\n

Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Bodyshop Technician, Panel Beater, Commercial Vehicle Body Repair Technician, or similar role.
\n - \n
Experience working on commercial and light commercial vehicles.
\n - \n
Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and industry best practices.
\n - \n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n - \n
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
\n - \n
Full UK Driving Licence.
\n

Relevant vehicle repair, panel beating, welding, or bodyshop qualifications.
\n - \n
Experience within a commercial vehicle repair environment.
\n - \n
ATA accreditation or equivalent industry certification.
\n
