Job Description:

Stoa Recruitment are recruiting three HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established global logistics operation based in Wolverhampton a family-owned business with over 20 years in the industry. Three positions are available, the work is ongoing, and the start is immediate.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be operating flatbed and curtain side vehicles on UK runs out of Wolverhampton. Early starts between 04:00 and 06:00, shifts of 12 to 15 hours. Before your first shift you will complete a paid onsite health and safety induction you are earning from the moment you arrive on site.

Three HGV Class 1 Driver positions are available now for drivers who know flatbed and curtain side work and want consistent ongoing shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 flatbed and curtain side vehicles on UK runs from Wolverhampton
\n
• Early starts between 04:00 and 06:00 12 to 15 hour shifts
\n
• Load, secure, and deliver to the required standard on every run
\n
• Complete pre and post-trip vehicle checks and maintain accurate tachograph records
\n
• Complete a paid onsite health and safety induction before commencing driving duties
\n
• Represent yourself and Stoa professionally at the client depot at all times
\n

What We're Looking For

Must have:

\n
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
\n
• Valid Driver CPC card
\n
• Digital tachograph card
\n
• Proven flatbed and curtain side experience
\n
• Clean or near-clean licence
\n
• Comfortable with 04:0006:00 starts and 1215 hour shifts
\n

Nice to have:

• Previous UK trunking or general haulage experience
\n
