We are recruiting HGV Class 2 Recovery Drivers for the UKs leading breakdown and recovery organisation.

The Role

\n

As a Recovery Driver, youll attend roadside breakdowns involving cars and vans, load vehicles safely onto a recovery truck, and transport them to a garage or home address.

\n

This is not a standard delivery driving role.

\n

Youll work independently, solve problems and genuinely help people when they need it most.

\n

Ideal for drivers who enjoy variety, responsibility, helping people and being out on the road.

\n

Training Programme

\n

Youll complete a fully paid 3-week induction programme:

\n

Week 1: Online training from home via Teams

\n

Week 2: Residential training at one of the companys training venues (Accommodation, meals, and travel provided)

\n

Week 3: Mentor training in the truck from your depot

\n

By the end of training, youll be fully prepared to work independently.

\n

What You Need

\n

HGV Class 2 licence or higher
\n Maximum 6 points for minor offences
\n No DD, DR, or CD endorsements
\n Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card
\n Good drivers hours and compliance knowledge
\n Strong customer service and communication skills
\n Ability to remain calm under pressure

\n

Experience

\n

Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience preferred
\n Newly qualified HGV drivers considered
\n Ex-military drivers encouraged to apply

\n

Shift Pattern

\n

Weekend Nights. Includes:
\n Thursday - Sunday
\n 21:00-06:00

\n

Interview Process

\n

Teams interview with the Hiring Manager including:
\n Drivers Hours assessment
\n Tacho compliance test

\n

\n Substance testing during training
