Hours of work: 4 days on 4 days off 06.00-17.02 or Tuesday to Friday 06.00-16.45 with 45 minute unpaid breaks\n
Rate of Pay: £16.30 - £17.61 per hour\n
Temporary ongoing work with no end date\n

Key Responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Safely operate an C2 bin lorry on designated routes within Edinburgh.
\n
• Collect and transport waste and recyclables to disposal and recycling facilities.
\n
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
\n
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the vehicle.
\n
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public.
  
\n

Requirements:\n
\n

\n
• Valid HGV C2 (Class 2) licence.
\n
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
\n
• Digital Tachograph card.
\n
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
\n
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
\n
• Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
\n
