Associate Director Building Surveying Up to £85k DOE + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Package
\nThis role is with an established and highly regarded multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy with an outstanding reputation within the residential sector. \nDue to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Associate Director within their London Building Surveying team.
\nThe Role
\nYou will work across a varied portfolio of projects, predominantly within the residential sector, including:
\nPrivate residential developments
\nHigh-end residential properties
\nListed and heritage buildings
\nSelected public sector projects
\nThe role offers an excellent mix of traditional building surveying instructions alongside exposure to newer and evolving disciplines.
\nYour core responsibilities will include:
\nContract Administration
\nDefect diagnosis and reporting
\nPlanned Maintenance programmes
\nSchedules of Condition
\nPreparation of specifications and tender documentation
\nAlongside this, you may also have the opportunity to become involved in:
\nReinstatement Cost Assessments
\nLicence to Alter work
\nBuilding Pathology
\nBuilding Safety related instructions
\nFire Safety projects
\nHeritage and conservation work
\nAdditional specialist surveying services as the business continues to expand

\nAbout You
\nTo be considered, you will ideally have:
\nPrevious experience within a building consultancy environment
\nA strong background delivering residential building surveying instructions
\nExperience managing and developing client relationships
\nExperience mentoring, supporting and developing junior surveyors
\nStrong technical capability across both professional and project work
\nYou will ideally be MRICS qualified. However, candidates who are keen to pursue chartership via the experienced route are also encouraged to apply, with full support and guidance provided throughout the process.

\nThe team operates a highly flexible hybrid model based around their Central London office, with most surveyors typically attending the office two days per week, occasionally increasing to three days where business or client requirements dictate.
