\nKey Responsibilities for the CNC Setter/Operator
\nAs the CNC Setter/Operator you will be set up, operate and maintain CNC and manual lathe machines.
\nRead engineering drawings
\nCarry out first-off and final inspections to ensure parts meet specification.
\nOperate multiple machines efficiently to meet production deadlines.
\nDeburr and clean finished components ready for assembly.
\nRework or modify production parts when needed.
\nEnsure all programmes are backed up daily.
\nKeep work areas clean, organised and safe.
\nLabel tools and jigs correctly for easy identification.
\nSuggest continuous improvement ideas to support lean manufacturing.
\nWork independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality products on time.
\nWhat We're Looking for for the CNC Setter/Operator
\n23 years' experience in CNC setting and operating.
\nAbility to read engineering drawings
\nGood computer and communication skills.
\nA positive, flexible attitude with excellent attention to detail.
\nAbility to organise your own workload and meet production targets.
