\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in South East London seeking an experienced Admin Officer to join their office team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong school administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent support to staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.
\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school's administrative functions and will be expected to work efficiently, accurately, and professionally at all times.
\nThe Role
\nAs an Admin Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and financial duties, including:

- Managing the school's front office and reception area. \n
- Acting as a first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies. \n
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and school databases. \n
- Using Arbor to manage attendance, admissions, communications, and pupil information. \n
- Processing invoices and supporting financial administration. \n
- Assisting with purchase orders and budget-related administration. \n
- Managing school correspondence, emails, and telephone enquiries. \n
- Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting. \n
- Maintaining confidential records in line with GDPR requirements. \n
- Assisting with admissions and pupil onboarding processes. \n
- Providing general administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff. \n
- Supporting school events, trips, and other administrative projects as required. \n
About You
\nThe ideal candidate will have:
\n- \n
- Previous administration experience within a school environment. \n
- Experience using Arbor Management Information System (MIS). \n
- Experience processing invoices and undertaking financial administration. \n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills. \n
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \n
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. \n
- The ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload. \n
- A professional, friendly, and approachable manner. \n
- A strong understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities. \n
