About the Role

\n

We are recruiting a Band 5 ADHD Nurse to support a growing ADHD clinic service, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and ongoing support for patients with ADHD.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with an interest in neurodevelopmental services and mental health to develop their experience within a supportive and flexible clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • \n

    Support ADHD assessment and follow-up clinics

    • \n
  • \n

    Assist with patient monitoring, reviews, and care coordination

    • \n
  • \n

    Undertake physical health observations and medication monitoring where appropriate

    • \n
  • \n

    Provide patient and family education regarding ADHD management and treatment pathways

    • \n
  • \n

    Support clinicians with clinical documentation and care planning

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintain accurate patient records in line with clinical governance standards

    • \n
  • \n

    Liaise with GPs, schools, mental health teams, and wider multidisciplinary services

    • \n
  • \n

    Provide compassionate, patient-centred support throughout the treatment pathway

    • \n

What We’re Looking For

  • \n

    Registered Nurse with current NMC registration

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience within mental health, CAMHS, neurodevelopmental, or community services

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong communication and organisational skills

    • \n
  • \n

    Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

    • \n
  • \n

    Compassionate and patient-focused approach

    • \n
\n

Desirable

  • \n

    Previous experience supporting ADHD or neurodevelopmental clinics

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience with medication monitoring and physical health observations

    • \n
  • \n

    Knowledge of ADHD treatment pathways and medications

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience working within remote or virtual clinical services

    • \n
