\nWe're working with a fabulous growing full-service law firm who are looking to strengthen their Risk & Compliance team with the appointment of a Risk & Compliance Officer.\n
\n
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in legal compliance, risk management, AML, or onboarding to join a supportive team and gain broad exposure across all areas of law firm risk and compliance.\n
\n
\nWorking closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s regulatory obligations, maintaining high standards of compliance, and providing guidance across the business.\n
\n
The Role?\n
\n• Responding to compliance queries relating to client onboarding, AML, source of funds checks, GDPR and regulatory requirements\n
\n• Supporting the maintenance and development of the firm’s policies, controls and procedures\n
\n• Conducting AML, Source of Funds and Source of Wealth audits, identifying trends and areas for improvement\n
\n• Carrying out electronic AML and conflict checks\n
\n• Supporting Lexcel, CQS, WIQS and other quality accreditations\n
\n• Delivering compliance and risk training for new starters and ensuring materials remain up to date\n
\n• Maintaining key compliance registers including complaints, claims, GDPR and conflicts\n
\n• Supporting professional indemnity claims and circumstances, including liaison with insurers and external solicitors where required\n
\n• Assisting with regulatory reporting, audits and compliance projects\n
\n• Keeping up to date with changes in legislation, regulation and professional standards\n

\n'14; Highly organised with excellent attention to detail\n
\n'14; Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, partners and wider business teams\n
\n'14; Proactive, resilient and able to manage competing priorities\n
