In House - Legal Counsel – Senior Disputes lawyer - Global Law firm - London
\nMarsden have an exclusive retained search for a Senior In-House Disputes Lawyer to join the in-house legal team of a leading global law firm in London.
\nThis senior and influential role will offer you a broad remit spanning internal investigations, client and third-party disputes, regulatory matters, professional indemnity and emerging legal risks associated with AI and new technologies.
\nKey responsibilities
\nYou will be involved in:
\n• Managing complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes and regulatory investigations
\n • Advising senior stakeholders on professional indemnity and risk strategy
\n • Developing governance frameworks for Generative AI
\n • Managing relationships with external counsel
\n • Contributing to firm-wide policies, training and risk initiatives
This fantastic opportunity would suit you if you have around 10 years’ PQE gained in reputable private practice firms and/or with similar roles in house. You will have a strong contentious background, although candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered where their expertise aligns closely with the role.
\nYou will find this to be an excellent opportunity to take on a varied in-house position with significant exposure and the ability to influence the firm’s wider approach to legal and regulatory risk.
