\nAre you an experienced Conflicts Lawyer or Head of Conflicts looking for the opportunity to build and shape a global conflicts function?\n

\nWe're currently working with a leading international law firm in the search for a Head of Conflicts to lead on evolving the function, modernise conflicts processes and build a best-in-class conflicts team.\n

\nThis is a rare opportunity to join a globally recognised firm at a pivotal stage, taking ownership of conflicts strategy, policy, technology and team development.\n

The Role?\n
\nReporting directly to the firm's Risk & Compliance Partner, you'll play a key role in delivering a major conflicts transformation programme, including significant process improvements as part of an IntApp Cloud migration.\n
\n
\nAlongside leading complex conflicts and confidentiality matters, you'll be responsible for growing and developing the firm's conflicts capability over the coming years.\n

  • Lead a firm-wide project to enhance conflicts processes, procedures and governance.
  • \n
  • Drive delivery of improvements alongside the firm's IntApp Cloud implementation.
  • \n
  • Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities to strengthen conflicts management.
  • \n
  • Advise on complex conflicts of interest and confidentiality issues.
  • \n
  • Review and resolve conflicts arising from new matters, lateral hires and corporate transactions.
  • \n
  • Draft waivers, engagement terms and conflicts-related documentation.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain conflicts policies and internal procedures.
  • \n
  • Deliver training to partners and employees across multiple international offices.
  • \n
  • Produce reports for senior leadership and governance committees.
  • \n
  • Build, mentor and lead a growing team of Conflicts Analysts.
  • \n
  • Manage and support the existing conflicts function.
  • \n
About You?\n
\n
    \n
  • Qualified Lawyer (preferred)
  • \n
  • Around 10+ years' experience within Conflicts, Legal Risk or Professional Responsibility in an international law firm
  • \n
  • Strong leadership and people management experience
  • \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior partners
  • \n
  • Experience managing complex conflicts of interest and confidentiality matters
  • \n
  • Proven experience drafting policies and implementing process improvements
  • \n
  • Hands-on knowledge of IntApp
  • \n
  • Strong project management and change management experience
  • \n
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • \n
