Area Camden, an Ofsted-rated Outstanding and Good provider since 2014, is on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee our established 3-bed children’s home in London. This is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people aged 9-17 with complex emotional and behavioral needs.
Your Role and Responsibilities\nAs our Registered Manager, you will:

- Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people. \n
- Oversee day-to-day operations while ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. \n
- Lead and mentor staff, fostering a child-centered approach focused on achieving the best outcomes. \n
- Maintain robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency collaboration. \n
- Implement care plans and ensure that individual vulnerabilities and support needs are consistently addressed. \n
To thrive in this role, you should have:

- A Leadership and Management qualification (or a willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People. \n
- Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding laws, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Standards Act 2000. \n
- Experience managing staff teams with excellent communication skills. \n
- A genuine passion for children’s homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people. \n

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. You will manage your own rota and participate in the on-call rota. The role comes with a competitive base salary of £52,000, with the potential to earn up to £58,600 through bonuses.
