Job Description
To provide a safe and high quality service throughout the facility whilst maintaining good operational procedures and relationships between the service and members of the public. This service provided will be in the form of an exercise / physical activity class specific to qualification(s) held.
Requirements\nThis post is considered to be a ‘Regulated Role’ under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act, it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. The successful candidate will therefore be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council.
Responsibilities\nPreparing / checking the exercise area and equipment ready for use.
\nTaking fitness classes at specified times
\nSetting up and dismantling equipment as required specific to the class being taken.
\nReporting any equipment faults.
\nMonitoring, reporting on cleaning/maintenance requirements
\nEnsuring that Health and Safety standards are complied with in accordance with the facility operational procedures.
The Individual\nRecognised Fitness / Leisure industry qualification with appropriate qualifications.
