PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 3 MONTH CONTRACT\n

\nTotal Recruitment Group seek a dedicated Cask Handler to join our clients dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of the casks, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. This role requires a combination of physical fitness, manual handling techniques and familiarity with warehouse management systems.\n

\nResponsibilities\n
\nLoad and unload casks from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.\n
\n
\nOperate forklifts and other machinery as required for moving heavy items.\n
\nBuild pallets and prepare shipments for dispatch according to company guidelines.\n
\nEngage in materials handling tasks, including sorting, stacking, and storing products in designated areas.\n
\nMaintain an organised and clean work area to promote safety and efficiency.\n
\nAssist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.\n
\nCollaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.\n
\n
\nSkills and experience\n
\nPrevious experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred\n
\nFamiliarity with warehouse management systems will be considered a plus\n
\nAbility to perform heavy moving techniques as required by the role, with a focus on safety\n
\nExcellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining inventory accuracy.\n
\nA proactive attitude towards teamwork and communication is necessary for success in this position.\n
\n
\nPlease note this role is a temporary on going role expected to last 3 months then reviewed.\n
\n
\nOperating window for hours will be between, 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 11.30am Friday, 37 hour working week within this time frame.\n
\n
\nPlease note that a training rate of 14 will be paid for the first 4-6 weeks, after training the rate will revert to 20 per hour.\n
\n
