HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Glasgow area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: Start times vary between 6pm - 10pm starts (afternoon/nights)

Pay Rate:

\n
• £17.75 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)
\n
• £18.25 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)
\n

Location: Glasgow, G32

Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing

The role:

\n
• Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
\n
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
\n
• 6 months minimum experience required
\n
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
\n
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
\n
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
\n
• Excellent communication skills.
\n
• A safety-first mindset.
\n
