Our client an established and leading property services company for nearly 80 years, based across England and Wales, in over 18 locations and 32 Business Units are looking fora Managing Surveyor,someone who can see the big pictureand will be helping contribute commercially to their long established client in Exeter.\n

What youll do:

    Lead and inspire a high-performing commercial team, ensuring delivery of contractual and financial objectives.

    • \n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    Own and have influence on the commercials of a long-standing asset management contract, through strategic decision-making and proactive risk/opportunity management.

    • \n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    Manage and resolve commercial conflicts, safeguarding the companys interests while maintaining strong client relationships.

    • \n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    Provide accurate forecasting and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in all commercial activities to explain, justify, and influence decisions.

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Interrogate and manipulate data with advanced Excel skills to analyse SOR codes, identifying cost-saving opportunities and delivering efficiencies across the contract.

  • \n

    Conduct regular commercial reviews and compile detailed commercial packs with Senior Leadership.

  • \n

    Collaborate with operational teams to align commercial strategies with service delivery goals.

\n

    Champion continuous improvement, using insights from data to optimise processes and enhance performance.

\n

What were looking for:

  • \n

    Proven experience in commercial management, ideally within property services or construction.

    • \n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    Advanced Excel skills, youre an Excel ninja who loves drilling into data.

    • \n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    Ideally, but not essential, in-depth knowledge of SOR codes and cost control.

    • \n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

    • \n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve commercial conflicts.
