EHS Engineer
\nFull-time 37 hours per week MondayFriday Represented by CASALI Recruitment
\nCASALI Recruitment is seeking an experienced and proactive EHS Engineer for a temporary assignment within a modern manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on EHS work, enjoys improving systems, and can confidently take ownership of compliance activities.
\nYoull play a key part in strengthening site Environmental, Health & Safety processes, with an initial focus on delivering and updating essential risk assessments and COSHH documentation. Beyond this, youll support wider EHS compliance across multiple management systems and contribute to a safe, well-run operation.
\nWhat youll be doing
\n- \n
- Leading the completion, review and improvement of risk assessments and COSHH assessments \n
- Developing and maintaining site risk and COSHH registers \n
- Supporting the operation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 management systems \n
- Participating in incident investigations, using structured methodologies such as 8D \n
- Assisting with internal EHS audits and compliance monitoring \n
- Contributing to legal compliance reviews and statutory tracking \n
- Maintaining accurate EHS records, registers and documentation \n
- Supporting emergency preparedness activities, including drills and audits \n
- Assisting with EHS training across the site \n
What were looking for
\nEssential
\n- \n
- NEBOSH Certificate (minimum) or actively working towards it \n
- Strong experience delivering risk assessments and COSHH assessments in a manufacturing or industrial setting \n
- Solid working knowledge of UK EHS legislation \n
- Experience supporting or working within ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 systems \n
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Experience working with hazardous chemicals and COSHH management \n
- Exposure to ISO 50001 \n
- HNC/HND in Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering discipline \n
