Role Overview\nAs a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will provide person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, promoting well-being, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those in your care.
Main Duties and Responsibilities\nDeliver high-quality care and support to clients in accordance with individual care plans.
\nAssist with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
\nSupport with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
\nAdminister medication as directed (following appropriate training).
\nCarry out light domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
\nProvide companionship and emotional support to clients.
\nMonitor and report changes in clients health or circumstances to the care manager.
\nMaintain accurate records and documentation as required.
\nPromote independence, choice, and dignity at all times.
\nAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols.
Person Specification\nEssential:

\nReliable, trustworthy, and respectful.
\nFlexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
\nRight to work in the UK.
\nFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (preferred, but not essential).
\nDesirable:
\nPrevious experience in a care or support role.
\nRelevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care).
\nKnowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control.
Working Hours\nVarious shifts available, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Both part-time and full-time positions considered.
