Head of Family Law

My client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Luton, seeking an experienced Head of Family to lead and develop its successful department. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Family Solicitor looking to step into a leadership role, or an existing Head of Department seeking a fresh challenge within a progressive and supportive firm.\n
\nKey duties will include:\n

\n
• Leading and developing the Family team, providing supervision, mentoring and ongoing support.
\n
• Managing a varied caseload of Family matters, including divorce, financial settlements, private children matters, domestic abuse and prenuptial agreements.
\n
• Playing a key role in the continued growth of the department through business development, networking and strategic planning.
\n
• Delivering an exceptional level of client service whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional referrers.
\n

The successful candidate will have:\n

\n
• A minimum of 3 years' PQE within Family Law.
\n
• Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of Family Law.
\n
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience, or the ambition to progress into a leadership role.
\n
• Excellent communication, client care and business development skills.
\n
