Remuneration: £55,000 - £60,000neg + Car Allowance

The role of the Designer – Solar PV & Biomass Heating will involve:

\n
• Designer position working on a range of Commercial and Industrial Solar PV & Biomass heating projects
\n
• Based out of the Melton Mowbray office with requirement to visit on-going projects
\n
• Overseeing the production and coordination of HVAC/heating system designs.
\n
• Reviewing technical drawings, calculations and specifications.
\n
• Liaising with clients, consultants, architects and project managers.
\n
• Ensuring designs comply with regulations, industry standards and client requirements.
\n
• Managing design programmes to support project delivery.
\n
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to design engineers.
\n
• Coordinating design changes and value engineering opportunities.
\n
• Supporting pre-construction, tender and project delivery teams.
\n

The ideal applicant will be a Designer – Solar PV & Biomass Heating with:

\n
• Must have Design experience within the Solar PV, Industrial Boiler, Biomass Heating or closely related sectors
\n
• Must have Commercial or Industrial sector experience
\n
• Highly advantageous to have a related degree
\n
• Strong understanding of building regulations and policies
\n
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
\n
• A highly motivated individual, who is flexible and has an excellent work ethic
\n
• Must hold full UK driving licence
\n
