HGV Class 2 Moffett Driver

About the Role

Driver Hire Colchester is currently looking for an experienced Class 2 MOFFETT HGV Driver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who is reliable, safety-conscious, and confident operating a vehicle-mounted forklift (Moffett).

You will be responsible for delivering goods to customers across East Anglia, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) HGV vehicle
\n
• Operating a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) to load and unload goods
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
\n
• Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customer sites
\n
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
\n
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
\n
• Adhering to all health & safety and driving regulations
\n

Requirements

\n
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence ( min 12 months)
\n
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Moffett licence/certification
\n
• Min 21 years old
\n
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
\n
• Good knowledge of UK driving laws and regulations
\n
• Strong communication and customer service skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
\n
