Manpower is recruiting Class 1 (C+E) ADR Drivers on behalf of a leading logistics and transportation company based in Rochester.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a nationally recognised logistics provider specialising in the safe transportation of bulk gases across the UK. If you're an experienced ADR Driver-or a newly qualified driver with the right attitude and commitment to safety-we want to hear from you.

\nThe Role\n
\n

As a Class 1 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for transporting bulk gas products between customer sites and distribution locations nationwide.

\n

This is primarily a trunking role involving long-distance driving, night starts, and occasional nights away, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and professionalism.

\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n
    \n
  • Operating Class 1 (C+E) tanker vehicles safely and efficiently
  • \n
  • Transporting bulk gas products throughout the UK
  • \n
  • Completing trunking runs between customer and depot locations
  • \n
  • Managing ADR loads in full compliance with regulations
  • \n
  • Operating tanker discharge systems where required
  • \n
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • \n
  • Completing delivery documentation and electronic POD systems
  • \n
  • Following all PPE, health & safety, and company procedures
  • \n
  • Maintaining communication with transport and planning teams
  • \n
\n
\nWhat We're Looking For\n
\nEssential Requirements\n
\n

? Full UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
\n ? Valid ADR Licence including Tanks
\n ? Driver CPC Qualification
\n ? Digital Tachograph Card
\n ? Good understanding of UK driving regulations
\n ? Professional and safety-focused approach

\n
\nPreferred Experience\n
\n
    \n
  • Previous ADR tanker driving experience
  • \n
  • 2+ years of Class 1 driving experience
  • \n
  • Experience transporting hazardous goods
  • \n
\n

Newly qualified ADR drivers are encouraged to apply. Full support and ongoing development are available for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.
