\nOverview
\nOur client is a leading provider of vehicles internationally. They provide full-service leasing, flexible subscription services, fleet management services and multi-mobility solutions to customers of all sizes, including large corporates, SMEs, professionals, and private individuals.
\nWe are looking for an experienced Vehicle Procurement Manager to join the team on a permanent basis at our Bristol office. The role will lead the vehicle sourcing strategy and manage key manufacturer relationships across the UK business.
\nYoull own the end-to-end vehicle procurement strategy, working closely with manufacturers, dealers and brokers to secure supply, optimise commercial outcomes and manage risk. Youll balance strategic planning with hands-on supplier management, ensuring operational delivery and resolving issues quickly.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead the vehicle procurement strategy across key categories. \n
- Build and manage strong relationships with vehicle manufacturers and supply partners. \n
- Secure vehicle supply and negotiate optimal commercial terms. \n
- Source tactical and bulk purchasing opportunities to support business goals. \n
- Deliver against volume, rebate and commercial performance targets. \n
- Act as the main point of contact for manufacturer performance, issue resolution and escalation. \n
- Work closely with Operations teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and supplier performance. \n
- Maintain oversight of stock levels, campaigns and supply management controls. \n
- Use data and insight to identify opportunities, trends and risks. \n
- Collaborate with Asset Risk, Commercial and wider stakeholders to inform strategy. \n
- Contribute to Group category activity, including supplier partnerships and rebates. \n
- Support the development of supplier scorecards and performance frameworks. \n
- Drive continuous improvement across the vehicle supply chain. \n
- Ensure all activity aligns with risk, compliance and governance standards. \n
Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Experience in procurement, category management or supplier management. \n
- Strong commercial and negotiation experience. \n
- Leadership experience of managing teams and business stakeholders through clear planning and effective performance development . \n
- Experience working in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment. \n
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and data analysis. \n
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills. \n
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and deliver at pace. \n
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach. \n
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders and external partners. \n
- Experience leading or contributing to change and improvement initiatives. \n
- Experience in the automotive or leasing sector and an understanding of vehicle supply chains and manufacturer relationships is highly advantageous. \n
