Driver Hire Tonbridge is recruiting on behalf of a well-established builders' merchant in Tunbridge Wells for a Class 2 HIAB Driver on a temp-to-perm basis.

What You'll Receive\n

  £17.00-19.05 per hour (PAYE)

  Weekly pay every Friday

  Minimum 8 hours' pay per shift

The Role\n

Working for a busy builders' merchant, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to trade and domestic customers throughout Kent and the surrounding areas.

\n

Your duties will include:

\n

\n
• \n

  Safely operating a Class 2 vehicle fitted with HIAB equipment

\n
• \n

  Delivering a range of building materials to customer sites

\n
• \n

  Carrying out daily vehicle checks

\n
• \n

  Completing delivery paperwork accurately

\n
• \n

  Providing excellent customer service at each delivery

\n
• \n

  Working closely with the branch team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently

\n

\n

Typical start times are between 0700-0730, Monday to Friday.

What We're Looking For\n

\n
• \n

  Category C (Class 2) licence held for a minimum of one year

\n
• \n

  Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

\n
• \n

  Valid HIAB qualification (remote crane preferred but not essential)

\n
• \n

  Previous experience delivering building materials is advantageous

\n
• \n

  Good communication and customer service skills

\n
• \n

  A reliable and professional approach to work

\n
