We're looking for an experienced Solar PV Engineer to join our growing renewable energy team covering Southampton and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial solar PV installations, maintenance, and fault-finding projects for a well-established business committed to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Install, commission, and maintain Solar PV systems. \n
- Diagnose and repair faults on existing Solar PV installations. \n
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections. \n
- Complete testing, commissioning, and associated certification. \n
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current electrical regulations. \n
- Deliver excellent customer service while working on client sites. \n
- Accurately complete job reports and documentation using company systems. \n
\nRequirements\n
We're looking for candidates who have:
\n- \n
- Experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systems. \n
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). \n
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. \n
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent desirable). \n
- ECS or CSCS Card. \n
- A full UK driving licence. \n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. \n
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities. \n
