\nWe are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Electrician to join the team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems across residential projects.\n
\nThe ideal Electrician is a safety-conscious, reliable professional who can deliver high-quality workmanship while working efficiently to meet project deadlines in line with current regulations and industry standards.\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n- Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, circuits, and systems in accordance with BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)\n
\n- Carry out first and second fix electrical installations\n
\n- Install and connect associated electrical systems\n
\n- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site plans accurately\n
\n- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and remedial electrical works\n
\n- Ensure full compliance with site RAMS, HSE requirements, and building regulations\n
\n- Maintain accurate records of installations, testing, and certification documentation\n
\n- Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle in safe working condition\n
\n- Deliver high standards of workmanship with attention to detail and safety\n
\nEssential Qualifications & Experience\n
\n- Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent, e.g. City & Guilds 2365-02 / 2357 pathway)\n
\n- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification\n
\n- Valid JIB Gold Card or ECS Gold Card\n
\n- Proven experience in either commercial, industrial, housing, or construction environments\n
\n- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning\n
\n- Competent in first fix and second fix installations\n
\n- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications\n
\n- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and site compliance\n
\n- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n
\n- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team\n
\nDesirable Qualifications & Experience\n
\n- Inspection & Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)\n
\n- IPAF, PASMA, or other relevant site certifications\n
\n- Full UK Driving Licence\n
\n- Experience supervising apprentices or junior electricians\n
\nAdditional Requirements\n
\n- Ability to work within strict HSE standards and site regulations\n
\n- Professional attitude with strong customer service focus\n
\n- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality delivery\n
\n- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment\n
