• Graduate EYFS Assistant role in Brent

• Support children across Nursery and Reception

• Use play to develop communication, confidence and early learning skills

• Lead purposeful conversations that encourage children to think, explore and problem-solve

• Work closely with experienced Early Years teachers and practitioners
  
\n
• Excellent preparation for teacher training, Educational Psychology or Early Years careers
\n

As a Graduate EYFS Assistant, you will actively engage with children throughout the school day. You will join their play, ask thoughtful questions, model language and help turn everyday activities into meaningful learning opportunities.\n
\n The school is looking for a Graduate EYFS Assistant who understands that successful Early Years support is not about standing back and observing. You must be confident getting involved in play and recognising when to guide, extend or adapt an activity.\n
Graduate EYFS Assistant | Person Specification:\n

• Degree from a UK university
  
\n
• Strong understanding of child development
  
\n
• Genuine interest in Early Years education
  
\n
• Clear understanding of the importance of play-based learning
  
\n
• Ability to build meaningful interactions with young children
  
\n
• Patient, enthusiastic and proactive
  
\n
• Previous experience with children is highly desirable
\n
