Air Conditioning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer to join our clients growing team based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a wide range cooling systems across the South West.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning and chiller systems.
\n
• Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
\n
• Commission and install air conditioning and chiller units where required.
\n
• Respond to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
\n
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
\n
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
\n
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining strong client relationships.
\n

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

\n
• Proven experience working on air conditioning and chiller systems.
\n
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
\n
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
\n
• Full UK driving licence.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
\n

Desirable:

\n
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
\n
• Experience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Carrier, Trane, York, or Climaveneta.
\n
• IPAF and PASMA certifications.
\n
• Experience working in commercial environments including offices, healthcare facilities, retail, and industrial sites.
