What we need from you:

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience as a Forklift Truck Engineer or within the plant industry
  • \n
  • Good knowledge of electric forklift trucks and electrical operating systems
  • \n
  • Excellent fault-finding skills
  • \n
  • Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge
  • \n
  • A full UK driving licence
  • \n
  • The ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • \n
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
  • \n
  • The ability to carry out LOLER and PUWER thorough examinations
  • \n
  • A friendly, approachable and professional manner
  • \n

What the role involves:

\n
    \n
  • Travelling to customer sites, predominantly within a 60-mile radius of West Bromwich
  • \n
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
  • \n
  • Carrying out breakdown repairs
  • \n
  • Repairing or replacing faulty components
  • \n
  • Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks
  • \n
  • Completing LOLER and PUWER thorough examinations
  • \n
  • Using diagnostic handsets and laptops to identify faults
  • \n
  • Producing parts orders
  • \n
  • Completing service paperwork accurately
  • \n
  • Delivering excellent customer service whilst representing the business
  • \n
\n


Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience.

\n

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8am - 4:30pm, Friday: 8am - 2pm.
