\nShift Pattern: Days Based, Monday to Friday (Flexible Start and Finish Times) + 24/7 On-Call Rotation (2 Weeks in Every 8)

\nWe are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client, a well-established industrial manufacturing facility based in the Cheltenham area.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable days-based position within a supportive working environment, offering strong earning potential and genuine technical development opportunities.
\nWhat you'll be doing:
\n- \n
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across heavy industrial manufacturing plant. \n
- Fault finding and repairing both small and large-scale mechanical systems. \n
- Stripping, servicing and rebuilding a variety of mechanical equipment and machinery. \n
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. \n
- Assisting with fabrication, fitting and installation projects. \n
- Working as part of the on-call rota, providing 24/7 engineering cover for two weeks in every eight. \n
- Maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and operational performance throughout the site. \n
- Supporting maintenance activities across steam, boiler and utility systems where required. \n
What we need from you:
\n- \n
- Minimum of 5 years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience. \n
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline. \n
- Previous experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. \n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on mechanical systems and heavy industrial plant. \n
- Experience carrying out mechanical overhauls, rebuilds and servicing work. \n
- Fabrication and fitting experience. \n
- Electrical maintenance skills or fully multi-skilled capability would be highly advantageous. \n
- Industrial steam and boiler experience would be beneficial (BOAS qualification desirable but can be achieved on site). \n
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. \n
What we offer:

- Basic salary of £49,500 - £51,500 \n
- Typical annual earnings of £58,000 - £60,000 through overtime and call-out payments \n
- Initial salary starts £2,000 lower until joining the on-call rota (typically achieved within 3-6 months) \n
